this pretty much sums it up in an intelligent, non-extreme way. for some reason i really enjoyed this comic- it shows many honorable attributes creationists have and that they really don’t have any misconceptions towards us infidels (link to comic; found via Pharyngula

Somewhere deep down, I think that most “infidels” believe that the kind of Christian portrayed in this comic is the prevalent stereotype.
Just like most Christians believe that most evolutionists are complete Atheists.
It would probably come as a shock to both parties to realize that they the majority of Creationists and Evolutionists are actually very closely aligned.
Cushy, i think you’re right. i do find humor in the extremes, though.
